$WOOD · Marwood
An ERC-20 on Ink, chain 57073.
Is it Real?
Yes, it's real, fr fr no cap. $WOOD is an ERC-20 token deployed on Ink, Kraken's Layer 2 network (chain ID 57073).
The contract address is:
0xe08f59718F33B93C68d06a75C2b774697154739C
There are exactly 420,690,000 WOOD tokens in existence, split down to six decimal places. The smart contract has no mint button, no admin keys, and no way to quietly print more supply. It was deployed at block 55,372,185 on 8 September 2026, and the source code is fully verified on Blockscout and Sourcify so you can audit it yourself. 乙酉

If not, get $WOOD here: inkyswap.com/swap. There is one pool, on InkySwap, on Ink: you swap ETH on Ink for WOOD. The pool itself holds WETH, which is ETH wrapped up as a token, and InkySwap does the wrapping for you. Nothing else is official.

The Sixteen Locks
Most crypto projects plan three weeks ahead. We did the opposite: 64.8% of the total supply (272,607,120 WOOD) is locked inside contracts, the last of them until 2065.
The contract declares its own schedule, so these dates are hardcoded right on the blockchain:
- Quarterly locks (9.8%): Eight unlocks release gradually between 9 December 2027 and 9 September 2029 to get things moving.
- Wood-year locks (55%): Eight generational releases timed to the Wood years of the Chinese zodiac (Jia 甲 and Yi 乙), ending on 5 February 2065.
- 19 February 2034 · 3.14% · 13,209,666 WOOD 甲寅
- 8 February 2035 · 4.04% · 16,995,876 WOOD 乙卯
- 30 January 2044 · 6.18% · 25,998,642 WOOD 甲子
- 17 February 2045 · 6.90% · 29,027,610 WOOD 乙丑
- 8 February 2054 · 8.30% · 34,917,270 WOOD 甲戌
- 28 January 2055 · 8.87% · 37,315,203 WOOD 乙亥
- 17 February 2064 · 13.37% · 56,246,253 WOOD 甲申
- 5 February 2065 · 4.20% · 17,668,980 WOOD 乙酉
Nothing is scheduled after 2065. It is a reminder that good things take time to grow.
Not yet.

Meet Marwood. He's a block of wood wearing sunglasses, and takes up 21.0 KB of this webpage, which makes him the heaviest thing here, and he is entirely unbothered by market volatility.
On 8 September 2026, the day this token launched on Ink, an actual copper beech tree was planted. Nature already invented the best ledger: a tree grows one ring every single year, and nobody can fast-forward or exploit that code. By the time our final token lock opens up in 2065, that will be a 38-year-old tree.
What this Page Does
Modern websites are bloated, loaded with JavaScript and trackers. This one is built like the old web: one file, small, and meant to outlast its host.
- It fetches zero files from third-party servers: no tracking cookies, no Google fonts, and no external CDNs.
- The entire site weighs 69 KB. Real ones know.
- It contains only 614 bytes of JavaScript, purely to power the little copy buttons. If you disable JavaScript, the site still works perfectly.
- It is saved as one single HTML file. You can save it to your desktop right now, turn off your Wi-Fi, and browse it offline.
- It reads fine with the styling turned off, which is how a machine in 2065 will probably read it. 2065 is when the last lock opens, so that matters.
- It uses the standard fonts already installed on your device, meaning it loads instantly on anything from a brand new laptop to a ten-year-old phone. It looks about the same on every screen.
- It's served over HTTP/2. Nobody will notice. That's the point.
- It's over a secure connection, so nobody can spy on what we're serving to you (the page might be different for everyone, pshht!).
- It uses one of the most general gTLDs available out there: .xyz
- It sends a Cache-Control header, so the browser keeps a copy. Keep a copy.
- Any other site can read it. There's nothing here to protect that isn't already on the chain.
- Screen readers get the same page.
- It is built to last until 2065: it needs nothing a browser didn't have ten years ago, so when future web browsers open this page forty years from now, it will still render cleanly.
- It uses the WTFPL - Do What the Fuck You Want to Public License, which is pretty clear on what you can and what you can't do.
kopimi a request that this page is copied, shared, remixed and kept.
Yes, This is the Whole Website
There's nothing behind it. No app, no dashboard. When a lock opens, the chain shows it. Save a copy; it's one file.
Credits
This website was made to follow the trend of thebestmotherfucking.website, which is shaped after bettermotherfuckingwebsite.com, which is shaped after motherfuckingwebsite.com. They are shorter, and ruder but they are not $WOOD. The colours, the log and the sixteen locks are ours.
If This Page is Gone
This page is one file on one host, and the host will not last forty years. The token will. Two facts rebuild everything above: the contract is 0xe08f59718F33B93C68d06a75C2b774697154739C and the chain id is 57073. If the endpoint has stopped answering, any Ink node works, and foundry isn't needed; the calls are plain JSON-RPC over HTTP.

The middle of a tree is called the heartwood: it is the oldest, toughest part of the trunk that keeps the whole tree standing.
Back in February 2025, a snapshot was taken of 10,697 wallets from the original BasedAI community. When the claim window opened up in August 2026, only 130 of those wallets actually showed up to claim. Instead of keeping the leftovers, the entire 20% airdrop pool (84,138,000 WOOD) was split evenly among those 130 people. Each wallet got 647,215.384615 WOOD on 12 September 2026, including the project creator, who claimed on the exact same terms as everyone else.
